Get Salon-Worthy Nails at Home: 3XL Square Lavender & Black with Swirl Accent Press on Nails

Full Cover Nail Tips Prep

First, I take the full cover nail tips and pick out the sizes that fits my nail side wall to side wall. You do not want to go for a full cover that is too small! ALWAYS go for the full cover that is bigger and file it to fit your nail. Then I put the full cover nail tips on nail holders with nail stickies. Next, I take a nail drill and remove the shine on the top surface of the nails.

Then I take the nail drill and file the free edge just a little to make sure it is straight. I then use a lint free wipe and alcohol to clean the nails.

Gel Polish Application

After all the nails are air dried, I apply a layer of Beetles gel base coat on all of the nails. I then place them in the nail lamp for at least 60 seconds.

Next, I take the Beetles Gel polish in the color c144 and polish a layer on the thumb and pinky finger nail. I take the Beetles Gel polish in the color c153 on the pointer and ring finger nails. Then I put them into the nail lamp for at least 90 seconds.

I then put a second layer of Beetles Gel Polish in the color c144 on the thumb and pinky finger nail. I also do a second layer of Beetle Gel polish in the color c153 on the pointer and ring finger nails and put it in the lamp to cure for 60 seconds. After it is cured, I add dabs of the color c153 in random spots from top to bottom on the middle finger. I then take the color c144 and add dabs in the empty spots in between the lavender spots. I then take a nail dotting tool and swirl the two polishes together to make the design. I put them in the lamp to cure for 90 seconds.

I then apply a layer of Beetles gel Top coat on all of the nails. I then do a full cure in the nail lamp for at least 90 seconds.

Next, I take the nail drill and file the edges to make them look crisp and clean.

I wipe the nails with a lint free wipe.

Nail Prep

This is one of, if not the most, important steps in ANY nail set or look. I always start on clean hands. I start by using a cuticle pusher to push back my cuticles.

I take a nail drill and lightly remove the shine from the nail plates.

Next, I take alcohol on a lint free wipe and wipe off the dust that was left on the nails.

Press on Nails Application

I remove the cover on the nail stickies.

Once the nails are dry, I apply the nail stickies to all of the press on nails. I rub them to make sure they are laying flat. Next, I peel off the top cover on the nail stickies.

I take the first nail and I grab it by the tip of the nail. I apply the press on nail in place slightly under the lifted cuticle.

Next, I apply pressure to the nail bed for at least 30 seconds. I repeat the same process for the rest of the nails.

After all of the nails are on, I take some cuticle oil and rub it on my fingers.
